Behind the Voices: Recording Our Wonder Dubbing Project

Every successful project has a story behind the scenes, and our Wonder dubbing project was no exception.

After selecting the scenes and preparing our scripts, we entered one of the most exciting parts of the project: the recording process.

At first, it seemed simple—just read the lines and record them. However, we quickly realized that dubbing requires much more than simply speaking English. Every sentence had to match the emotions, facial expressions, and timing of the original characters. This meant that we had to focus not only on pronunciation but also on tone of voice, intonation, pacing, and emotion.

Throughout the recording sessions, we practiced our lines repeatedly, listened to each other’s performances, and made improvements together. Sometimes we recorded the same sentence several times until it felt natural and reflected the character’s emotions accurately.

One of the most valuable parts of this process was teamwork. We supported one another, shared ideas, and gave constructive feedback. Every member contributed with patience, dedication, and creativity, helping us achieve the best possible result.

Recording our voices also gave us the opportunity to become more confident English speakers. Many of us realized that confidence grows through practice, and that every new recording helped us improve a little more.

This experience reminded us that learning a language is not only about grammar or vocabulary. It is also about expressing emotions, telling stories, and connecting with people through communication.

Looking back, the recording process was much more than preparing for a presentation—it was a journey of learning, collaboration, and personal growth.

At Speak & Sparkle, every voice matters, and every recording is another step toward speaking with confidence.
