Last week, we had our very first Speak & Sparkle meeting, and it was truly inspiring. Even though it was only the beginning, the energy in the room was full of curiosity, excitement, and new ideas.
During the session, we introduced ourselves and shared our motivations for joining the club. It was amazing to see how everyone came with different backgrounds but the same eagerness to grow and shine together.
To make the process more dynamic, students were paired into small teams. Each team received a short animation task to complete until our next face-to-face meeting. This will help us better understand their levels and then create the main groups based on their skills and strengths.
We also talked about the vision of the club: creating a space where students can improve their speaking skills, build confidence, and support one another. This is just the start of a journey that will help us discover not only our voices but also the power of collaboration.
