This week, we had our first online meeting of the Speak & Sparkle club!
And even though we weren’t physically together — and yes, even though our cameras were off — there was something special we all felt:
Our voices were together.
And that alone was powerful. ✨
🔇 Cameras Off, Voices On
Throughout the meeting, no one was visible.
There were no faces on screen — just voices, words, and emotions carried through sound.
And that reminded us of something really important:
We can still exist — fully — without being seen.
Sometimes, being heard is more than enough.
This unexpected setup matched perfectly with the core of our club: speaking, expressing, and connecting through voice.
🎙️ An Inspiring Guest: A Voice with a Story
One of the highlights of the session was a guest appearance by a fellow student who has experience in voiceover and dubbing.
She shared her journey with us — from the first time she recorded her voice and felt awkward, to slowly learning how to use that voice to bring characters to life.
Her story was raw and honest, and it lit a spark in many of us.
At one point, she said something that really stayed with us:
“At first, hearing my own voice felt strange… but then I realized how much I could do with it.”
And that’s really what this club is about:
Learning to hear your own voice. Trusting it. And using it to express who you are.
đź’¬ Connection, Curiosity, and Courage
After her talk, students began asking questions — lots of them!
From technical details to personal tips, the curiosity was amazing.
Even though the cameras were off, we could all feel that we were together in this space of shared learning and growing confidence.
And maybe the best part?
Some students were so inspired, they started recording voice clips right after the session!
It was a beautiful reminder that even small steps can lead to bold beginnings.

This online session wasn’t just a virtual meeting.
It was a turning point — a moment where we let go of the need to be seen, and instead embraced the power of being heard.
In the weeks ahead, there will be more guests, more creative tasks, and more chances to share, explore, and shine.
